Setting the Orientation

The -o landscape option will rotate the page 90 degrees to print in landscape
orientation:

lp -o landscape filename ENTER
lpr -o landscape filename ENTER

Maybe Netscape is sending the wrong command or maybe your printing system is
not responding properly. In the past I had some problems with lpr that I
solved be using lp. Netscape allows you to give a command line with options.
Use the options descibed above with that feature as an alternative way to
using the Landscape Radio Button in the print dialog.

Disclaimer: I am not a printing expert and firmly believe that printing
wastes more time and resources than any other task in IT.

The larger purpose of the economic order, including Wall Street, is to
support the material conditions for human existence, not to undermine and
destabilize them.
