Thank you for the report Alan,

I have a server that I have been considering moving over to Linode as 
part of the goal of dumping TWC business class ($$$$).  I had been 
putting it off thinking that I would need to manually reconfigure the 
system, install all the packages, modify the configuration files, and 
debug the damned thing for the next three months.  Your post describes a 
much better way!
