Hi Bill,

tell me about the 1.11 hardware.

I just bought a v1.11 expecting the installation to be a trivial repeat of the 
one I did about 2yrs ago with you, to find in the docs that for the 1.11 
hardware that the wan port is disabled. Apparently TP put in their firmware an 
"upgrade" so that if the unit is not running the TP OS, the wan port is 
disabled. You have to go through some complicated dance, reinstalling the v1.1 
firmware from TP and then putting on OpenWRT.

Then somewhere else in the OpenWRT docs, it says that there are no problems with 
v1.11 and not to worry about it.

I take it that there's no problems? Do you know the v1.11 wan port story?
