[TriLUG] TWC raises modem rental - again

I bought a surfboard about a year ago. Because TWC modem had to be rebooted
every day or two. Ended up having to reboot the surfboard every week also;
but, it is a little better. Now I run it with both secure and open and just
jump on the open when it locks up and I'm not bothered to go hard reboot.
My work VPN eventually will even lock up on even that and I have to reboot
the laptop and I typically reboot the cable modem just because.
Long story short: no additional issues and a little better experience with
my own cable modem. Was in Charlotte and now in Wake Forest.
