I think it's appropriate to trot out a quote from my grandfather (both 
since Ric has a quote from his father in his .sig and because I think it's 
appropriate at this juncture):

"'Cheer up,' they told me, 'things could be worse.'  So I cheered up, and, 
sure enough, things got worse."

How's that for a positive attitude? :-)
