At&t  tip: swearing loudly and vigorously using paint-peeling vocabulary for about 60 seconds before pausing has twiced caused an overseas yahoo to switch me to a straight-talking,highly skilled tech in kentucky who helped me zero in on root causes (why their network was delivering w one second latency that day and why i needed to switch away from a particular modem and exactly what modem would be absolutely reliable).
