Have you considered the Chrome Bit.  Chrome is Gentoo based.  I don't think
it is out yet but is supposed to be soon.  It is supposed to be $100
rockchip based chrome os computer.  Other options of course are the intel
compute stick which is windows and I think Ubuntu has something similar.
