 Kodi is for piracy like a car is for drive by shootings. I drive to work in my car. What do you do with your car? Should we ban all cars? 
The statement above does sound quite silly to me for obvious reasons. Kodi (XBMC) are nothing short of incredible efforts by incredible donations of time by alot of people. Yes people abuse it, should we eliminate all progress?
