[TriLUG] Router recommendations

I had a lot of trouble with routers, but settled for a pretty good setup: TP-Link router (WDR4300 I think) with OpenWRT, and a UniFi access point. The UniFi is amazing: it covers my one acre property, basement to attic of the house, etc. Lit has been fast and rock solid. I also got a small switch with PoE support so that I have some extra Ethernet ports for things that can be plugged in. This may be a bit of overkill for your situation, but something to consider.
