[TriLUG] mostly OT: Tech Lobbyist

There is a local tech lobbyist on the video I was trying to upload last
night. There is a proposal in NC Legislation to regulate bitcoin and the
like. If it passes you may need a quarter million dollars and a bunch of
red tape to legally exchange fiat currency for bitcoin or to make a bitcion
wallet app. This type of Legislation just passed in New York. NC could
follow suit if there is no opposition.

The bill is proposed by the banking industry, which might not be around
much longer if the cryptocurrency trend continues to grow popular.
