[TriLUG] Any recommendations for cheap "cloud" hosting?

Guess it depends upon what you mean by cheap and equally important,
what you plan to do with it.
I use Linode. I get a system $20 per month, which isn't the smallest
option, and they do have "hourly" billing that can lower the bill even
more.
One of the key things about it (and one other company, though I forget
which one it is) offer a ludicrous amount of data transfer. The Linode
I have is 3TB and I think that doesn't even include any incoming
traffic.
I use it for an email server (also with a web interface) and to host a
subsonic music server.
When I set it up, I transferred about 5 years of email and my entire
MP3 collection and used less than 1% of my transfer allowance.
