[TriLUG] Any recommendations for cheap "cloud" hosting?

I will likely move to Northstate, which offers Plex.  They were willing
to offer TV and 100MB Internet for less than TWC was willing to offer
just TV.  A few years ago they ran fiber service through my
neighborhood, which I learned of when they conveniently used my front
yard to dig the pit where they spliced the cable running up and down
the street.

Honestly, my domestic usage is such that I could probably get away with
using a Verizon hot spot or something, but I will probably get
something better because ultimately I feel TV "cord cutting" is in my
future.

The only real advantage I can see to business class Internet service is
the lack of port blocking and the availabiliy of things like reverse
DNS and static IP addresses that are outside of "residential"
allocations. Having moved all the server functionality to hosted
machines rather than physical ones in my home, I really no longer have
a need for these features at home since they're included in the hosted
system.
