[TriLUG] Laptops and insurance

I've been putting laptops and other expensive electronics (but not
phones) on a marine rider on my renter's or homeowner's insurance for
years.  Works quite well and got me a new digital camera years ago when
I had mine swiped while on vacation.

Homeowner's insurance may or may not cover laptops, etc. when traveling
or otherwise outside the home.
