[TriLUG] Laptops and insurance

Personally, I buy used laptops, and pay $100-300 plus may add SSD and memory. Although an insurance policy may cover the loss, the deductible is $500, and it would be more expensive filing an insurance claim than paying for a replacement out of my pocket.
