      That build is scaled down to fit the R3. You are better off
downloading, say, Ubuntu and installing it. It is very new user
friendly IMHO

      Most distros rely on python for many things. C is a compiler;
get gcc and you will be golden. If they have an android you can even
set machine to build packages for it.

BTW, your used laptop is better than my own laptop. And my laptop does
not feel slow.

Each of them with separate accounts. And then decide who can do sudo
and what while sudoing about.
