imnsho, mailchimp method of operation is EVIL.

people should opt in (want to receive) and "services" enabling spammers
are evil.

instead of actually forcing their "users" to confirm that they have
spelled an email address correctly, that the recipient actually wants
their crap etc - mailchimp is empowering the selling of "marketing
data" and allowing, empowering and promoting the sending of mass spam.

if it was a few hundred years ago the ceo of mailchimp would have been
at risk of a burning at the stake... 

anyway, all ethical mail server admins should flag anything incoming
from mailchimp as SPAM, as the chances that it may actually be spam, is
larger than 50%
