Kaspersky doesn't hide that it's required to hand over any new malware it finds 
to the Russian govt. If Kaspersky was evil, it would not have told the world 
about the malware it found on the contractor's laptop.

If Kasperky's relationship with the Russian govt was a problem for users, then 
anti-virus vendors in free countries would have leapt to declare that they are 
not doing the same thing, but there was silence from all of them. I note that 
you present no evidence that other vendors are clean in this respect.

Kaspersky played a large part in exposing Stuxnet. They're doing a good job in 
keeping the world free from malware.
