In Gentoo and hopefully in *nix can you check
/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/srvr_ctrl.
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout_switching . They talk about
adding custom switching option.
compact/xfree86 provides details of the command as per the documentation.
