Just a bit of info for folks that are comparing Hitachi (HGST) and Western
Digital disk drives.  These are the same drives. Different labels and
tweaks at firmware, but they come out the same factories.  There was some
work a few years ago so that either factories drives could be run through
QA test at either a legacy WD or HGST test facility.   So even trying to
tell them apart would be pretty difficult now.
