[TriLUG] IDE for C/C++ development?

Hello All;

I have not been doing Linux development for a few years.  I have a chance
to do a bit now and was wondering what is the "best" IDE for C and C++
development.  I loaded Eclipse on Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS and it did not start.
So instead of trying to figure out why, I thought I would just ask for
advice.

So what is the best IDE for C/C++ development on Linux?
