[TriLUG] recommendations for on-line Linux VM

Seconding the suggestion for Hetzner: I'm using their small cloud instances to host various websites and tools and they've been terrific. Very set-it-and-forget-it when it comes to setup, and a decent array of choices for OS as well.
If you want something more than that, they also sell their older cloud-hosting servers as colo boxes, so you can get a relatively powerful server already in their datacenter for a fraction of cost with full console/root access to install whatever.
