[TriLUG] Advice Please

Steve:

That is a really good idea. I do get some power. The LED on the power
switch does light up and (as I recall) the keyboard backlighting does come
on. This system is a Lenovo P14s Gen 1. But other than those LEDs - that
is all I get. At the first of this I was getting fans but now, no fans.
And not a flicker out of the display.

I meant to follow up on this saga. Last week I took one of my BeeLink NUC
style computers and installed the NVMe from the P14s (with Tumbleweed) and
got back on the air. One of the primary jobs of this system is to archive
email, and it is happily doing that again, even if in a different box. The
BeeLink was one of my demo systems from SUSE days, but was begging to be
repurposed now that I retired.

I would rather have a laptop as my primary Linux system, but the NUC works
OK for now.

Thanks

Dwain
