Maybe your power button is bad. They go bad all the time. You replaced
your wall-wort power supply yet no power anywhere. Does your fan even
spin?

I don't know how physically possible this is with your particular
computer, which seems to be a laptop, but see if there's a way to
disconnect the power button and then manually, with a screwdriver (very
carefully to avoid shorting anything), short the two pins that were
attached to the power button. Do it with the battery in and RAM in. By
the way, if your battery is over 3 years old, replace it on general
principles, regardless of how it looks.
