Well, it's kind of like my house. :-) Our builder told us that
during the house building phase, sometimes there would be times
where *lots* of things happened very quickly. Unfortunately,
there are also times where it looks like nothing is happening.
This just happens to be one of the times when lots of stuff is
happening. :-)

So, as Chris said, the mail and ftp servers are installed. Chris
is working on populating the mirrors (btw, chris, I'm also uploading
my mirror of mandrake 8.2 to /mirrors/lovelace. We'll see how long
that takes. At least it's not on the 10mbps hub.). I'm working on
two things right now.

1) exporting user data and nfs mounting home directories on moya and
dargo. This is so, for mail, the user will be able to specify
a .procmailrc file for further e-mail processing. It isn't
strictly needed to finish the imap server, but it'll have to happen
   sometime.
2) Getting the imap server up and running. At this point, I believe
I'm going to go with UW imap in black box mode using mbx mailbox
format. I probably won't be able to work on that until tomorrow
night. Fortunately, UW imap isn't all that hard to setup, even in
this weird configuration. And, it uses the normal pam authentication
   which is already setup.

As usual, let me know if you have any questions.
