I'm not sure what the RR TOS says...but e-mail is the #2
"feature" listed on their own web page - so they cannot
claim this.  Mail services are paid for and expected.

OTOH, I think this gives us a non-legally binding, but
nonetheless strong justification for a right to run our
own servers on RR - because RR cannot provide that
service reliably.  If they ever bitch at me about
running my own mail server - I will be responing with
the long list of mail outages.

Ben...if you're still listening.  Please don't take any
of these critiques personally.  Overall, I am happy with
my RR service - except mail and DNS.  My uptime is well
over 99% - and I find the price reasonable.  I am quite
glad to have you on the list - and especially grateful for
your occasional explanations of how things work in the
depths of a large ISP...it satsifies some curiosity on
my part, if nothing else.
