[TriLUG] Laptop Hard Disk expansion

The max I can get for an internal 7200 is 60GB and for a little more I can get a 250GB external.... I guess it is quality vs quantity and the quest is to improve the quality of the quantity.. :)

Don't waste your time on SATA with a laptop since the real bottleneck
isn't the communications mechanism--its the drive itself. Replace the
existing 4200rpm HD with a 7200rpm laptop HD (such as the new models
from IBM/Hitachi) and thats about the best you can do.
