Global Operations Support Specialist 

This position ensures that all IT/IS Service Infrastructure operates without interruption in support of all service offerings. This includes monitoring of all systems, ticket resolution, issue tracking and escalation management. Candidate must be able to track, analyze, and resolve network and system faults. Interfaces for this position include Operations Site Supervisors, Billing personnel, Customers, and Partners. Global Network Operations Center operates on 24x7 schedule meaning candidate must be available to work multiple shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
 
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with coursework completed at a four-year college or technical school considered a plus. The minimum experience required includes 6 months at a customer service center, help desk or equivalent; Windows and/or UNIX user with experience editing UNIX files; and experience with Fault Resolution and Issue Tracking via a ticketing system. Specialized knowledge needed for this position include being able to navigate through MS Windows and through UNIX file structure (editing and saving files correctly). Basic knowledge of Internet Protocol and Network Topology is also needed to perform this job. The position requires good communication skills, being an independent thinker with strong analytical skills, being a good team player and being able to respond to problems accurately and efficiently.
