TriLUG has had install-fests, but I don't know if many
people need these anymore.
Looking at
http://www.northcarolinatravels.com/durham/events.htm
I see the Eno River Festival (in blastingly hot summer) and
the Center Fest (in Oct). Maybe a booth with wifi for the
festival participants with SSID="linux"? I'm not sure what
we'd do there. It's not like we could install Linux on
anyone's perfectly working laptops (as if anyone will have a
laptop at a festival). We could demo something that people
would grock. Maybe we could have web camera feeds from
various locations around the festival.
