[TriLUG] Ubuntu 11.04 Release Party, April 28, Chapel Hill

I'm pretty excited about it. I know there is a good bit of politics
regarding the switch, but frankly if I didn't read slashdot every day, I
think I wouldn't have noticed that such a fundamental change had occurred. I
would have probably just said "oh, new shiny pretties!" and been on my merry
way.

I actually like this diversion a bit. I have long felt that while Ubuntu was
one of the "prettier by default" distros, all gnome based and/or kde based
distros looked pretty much the same.

That being said, I really don't know what I am talking about, so it is
merely the opinion of someone largely uninformed. I'll install it, see if I
like it, and if I dont, just revert.
