Clearances do not disappear once you leave the job, they have an
expiration date.  Certain parts of certain clearances are removed but
the base clearance remains.

It is not easier to get a clearance based on the fact you had one in
the past.  You always start from 0.
It is not easier to get a higher clearance if you have a lower one.
You have to have a need to know.

If you are having trouble finding cleared people in Raleigh, advertise
in Fayetteville.
