[TriLUG] postfix recipient_delimiter not behaving :(

followup: smtp error log indicates:
550 5.1.1 <username-foo at domain.com>: Recipient address rejected: User
unknown in local recipient table;

btw, this is OSX 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) using postfix and dovecot.
