[TriLUG] OT: FOR SALE - Working APC UPS and/or New Olympus XD Card

What was meant was in the end it doesn't matter if my cablemodem is on a
UPS or not as when there is a power outage TWC is down. Thus, even if
I'm protected, the TWC feed is not, so why bother.

This was demonstrated recently during a local power outage. All of our
neighbors who were on a TWC bundle with telephone had no service - no
cable, no telephone, no Internet. None of them could be reached via
telephone. We have a wire line and could call and be called without
difficulty.

Cheers,
