I haven't tried it elsewhere.  I guess that I could put it in a laptop
and see what happens.  I don't have any DOS or Windows machines, but I
don't imagine that that matters.

Good suggestions.  I tried here first, because I find that I get a lot
of good suggestions on a wide variety of questions.
