[TriLUG] OT: Getting Bulky Connectors Through Walls

Hi Gang,

This is so specific, I'm having a hard time creating a meaningful Google
query for it.

I've recently bought an outdoor IP camera to expand my home security setup.
It's got a short tether from a weatherproof fitting which terminates in a
RJ-45 socket, coax power socket, and reset button (it's CAM-J601 from
Intrex).

So I'm faced with the task of needing a big hole for the connector to fit
through, but only wanting a much smaller hole for the cable.

I figure people on this list must have loads of experience with just such a
thing... What's some advice on making a big hole small again in a
weatherproof way? How would you get the wire through the wall?

Thanks,
~Brian
