[TriLUG] Native IPv6

TriLUG,

Today is a joyous day for me. Comcast has enabled IPv6 in my town (in CT).
I got a /64 allocation for my network as well as a /128 for the WAN
interface on my router. I am now wondering a few things about how this will
work. For example, is the /64 prefix static or dynamic? If it's dynamic,
will it be like my IPv4 address and only change once a year or so?

More importantly, is there anything I can do (technical or otherwise) to
make sure the /64 prefix is static?
