[TriLUG] Synology DiskStation or other NAS/media server hardware recommendations?

I need to build a new web/email/media server. Mine is running very old CentOS
on even older hardware.

I want these capabilities:
- apache & wordpress
- postfix
- a media server package (Plex or Subsonic?)
- file and calendar sharing (OwnCloud?)
- backup to cloud (S3?)

Low-power and quiet are important. And of course, I'd like to minimize my setup time.

I'm considering something like a Synology DiskStation DS414j
(http://www.synology.com/en-global/products/overview/DS414j)
which seems to be based primarily on Linux/OSS and seems to have everything I need.

Does anyone have experience with the DiskStation products or have something
comparable they can recommend?
