Dansguardian supports true content filtering but it will need text for it.

The netflix options and that show I know what you are saying.

We also host media internally in our home and I just switched off minidlna
in favor of MediaBrowser.

MediaBrowser not only uses the internet to capture the film ratings and
password secure different profiles but you can also set a parent rating.

Example The Graduate, listed as PG, we changed that to R so it did not show
under the kids account.
