[TriLUG] Router recommendations

It appears that the wireless transmitter on my TP-LINK TL-WR841ND Ver 3.0  
has failed. I think I picked it up in a hurry from an Office-* store about  
four years ago, but it looks as if it was already three years obsolete at  
that time.

So a new one is in probably a better idea than trying to "fix" the current  
one. What's best for "home use" where my Android phone and my Brother  
printer are the only wireless clients, at least right now? Wirecutter  
recommends TP-LINK's Archer C7 (not the C8). It's about $90 on Amazon.
