I have J1800 with dual nic i340 on re-use 1U shortdepth supermicro server
case.
$35  j1800 mobo(new on newegg) + $35 ddr3l sodimm 8g ram( new on newegg) +
$17 dual port i340 IBM(new from ebay + $9 dc2dc atx (used from ebay, not
pico clone from chinese seller) +  $2 pcie 1X to 16X extension cable +
available used parts in my hands: Intel 520 SSD 60G, 1U server, 12V
powerbrick, hot glue/gun, and 2X40mm fans low speed including  a blower fan.

running proxmox 3.4 with 3 VMs: ipcop, debian with openvpn client, and
light duty debian.

power consumption is amazing on baytrail D processor. mine is 10W-15W(max)
that based on processing situation.

this replaced old celeron mini-itx (esxi 5.5 with ipcop, and some ubuntu
vms)
