Maybe a short class on networking? Have them bring their laptops and create a wired and wireless network. This will teach them the basics of how devices talk together - regardless of Mac, Linux, Windows, RPi, etc.
I have a couple of 24-port switches I can bring if you interested. I can even volunteer some time to lead the lesson…
